Actually, the calendars I am concerned about are not calendars that others have shared with me. These are calendars that I have created under "My Calendars" in order to track things like department events, space usage, vacations and leaves, work schedules, etc. These are under my profile and contain information vital to my job function. Can these calendars also be transferred over to my Nmail account, if not during the initial migration, then sometime before Outlook is shut down?

Thank you so much for whatever you can suggest to help me out with the above.

Answer

Personal calendars created using outlook which do not automatically migrate can easily be manually migrated into gmail.

Within outlook, save the calendar in the iCAL format.  You can do this by viewing the calendar and then clicking on file; save. iCAL is the default calendar file format.

Within your personal Gmail account, go to calendars and create a new calendar.  Click on the down arrow next to Other Calendars and then select import calendar.  Identify the file and select the calendar to import the events/appointments into.  It will take a few minutes for the events/appointments to be imported into your new calendar.
