Q. Is the school closed on holidays?
I will be absent for a week and need to turn my homework in in advance by placing it in my professors' mailboxes on Monday. However, this coming up Monday is a holiday. Is the university closed? Will I be able to do this?

You can learn when the University is closed by reviewing the academic calendar available at: http://www.neiu.edu/academics/registrar-services/academic-calendar. Typically, when the University is closed, most if not all of the buildings are not accessible. Additionally, if you have not informed your instructor that your are going to be missing a week of class, you should let your instructor know.
