I submitted an application for a name change. On that application I checked the box asking for a new user ID but I still have not received one. All my records reflect the name change, except my username. In my email, it reflects a new email address, but I still log in with the old username.

NEIU Email address can be changed when a name is changed and it looks like your email address was changed however NETID/Usernames are not permitted to be changed due to the complexity of the applications.
Once a NETID/Username is assigned to a person, it is assigned for life.
